Settling in
2nd night for Cody in his new home and he's surpassed all expectations. I honestly can't think of anything he's done wrong (apart from squeaking his ball too much !!), The sun is out, patio door's open and where is he ? Laying down on the rug by me as I'm writing this. Sweet. He's a happy chappie.

PS x reading your comment has brought so much back to me and I have weeped a tear or two when I read it.
Katie has sent me the picture of your beautiful garden and the picture of Cody with his squeak toy, I understand what you mean re the noise, my mum use to love it too.
I know that he is in the BEST place ever and my mum and me knew we where doing the right thing by taking Cody back to Katie to be re homed.
I still look on the blog so pictures of the wonderful Cody we would love.

Dear Hayley, Denise and Mollie,
Thankyou for your lovely comments. It is difficult knowing what words to put down when you clearly loved him so much. We will give him as beautiful a life as we can. If tail wagging counts for anything, we're on the right path.
We lost our Old English Sheepdog a few weeks ago, after almost 12 1/2 years. That was really hard and we thought we'd wait for 3 months or so and then start looking for another dog. I started looking earlier than that, and came across Katie and Cody. Katie is a true professional and that shone through. Cody looked scrumptious so we had to investigate further.
Being just 16 miles away we shot off to Ascot and never looked back.
Cody is a lovely, beautiful and well behaved dog. We have to thank you for all the love you have given to Cody as well.
We will keep you updated if you like and add some more photos
