Well - it feels like we've got our new puppy too today! With everyone safely off to their new forever homes, Isla is at last an "only" dog.
We went to Cheapside Village Fete yesterday - held in the Hall opposite our house and the fields behind. It was, despite the somewhat dismal weather, a wonderful event and a good time was had by all.
Isla was hugely admired by everyone.
Daisy had to show her where the swings are in the park
There was a tug of war for the kids
Which was won by the girls, naturally ;-)
And this is Daisy at the end of the day - those shorts were pink once, honestly!!!I really missed Susan Owen today - she loved this event.
When you make a new post, there are little icons at the top of the "compose" window. The add a new picture icon is 3rd from the right - a tiny picture of a land-scape. When you click that a new window opens inviting you to Add a picture from your Computer or Add a picture from the Web. Immediately under the Add a Picture From Your Computer, there is a browse button so you can find the stuff on your local computer. Just above this (and I missed it too at first) is a little link called "add another image". If you click that, you'll get up to 5 "browse" buttons so you can upload up to 5 pics at a time.
Irritatingly each picture goes to the very top of your blog so if you want to tell a story with your photos, you have to enter the last one first, etc, etc, or - as I am now doing, get quite good with the "Control-X" and "Control-V" buttons to cut and past the photos into the text.
I'm loving the new posts - its made it exciting for me to log on too now! Looking forward to seeing more and more of them over the next couple of months!
Doodle and Poodle Walk - Saturday 25th July, 11am
I'm having a Doodle and Poodle walk at Virginia Waters on Saturday 11th July, 11am. There will be a short 20 minute loop for the puppies, then a longer, 1 hour loop for the older dogs. We meet at the top end of the carpark on the A30 in Virginia Waters, opposite the Total Garage and Adjacent to The Wheatsheaf pub. Please email me if you would like to attend.
