Day 62 - Isla & Monty's first walk

Monty went home with Jayne today and to ensure that she had a nice quiet drive home (fingers crossed anyway) we went for a very short (first!!!) walk at Virginia Waters.

Neither Jayne nor I vaccinate with conventional vaccines - but our puppies have had a course of homeopathic nosodes to cover them for Leptospirosis, Hepetitis, Distemper and Parvo.

Because the puppies are very young they will follow us everywhere, tripping us up almost in an attempt to stay close. THIS IS THE TIME TO START OFF LEAD stuff. Pleeeeeeeeeease don't wait until your puppy is 14+ weeks old!

We thought it might rain, so I didn't take the big camera. These pics are all taken on my mobile (hence the lack of quality)

We met Jo on our walk with her three JRT's and her English Pointer.

Monty meets "short stop" (Candy)

Flossy was completely unperturbed by the addition of two of her puppies on our walk and continued to zoom about as per normal.

Isla receiving liver cake for staying by my left leg (heelwork)

which obviously worked - she was glued to me for the next few minutes!....

Her brother cottoned on to this easy way of earning treats rather rapidly too!

Isla's first "sit" outside of our home environment.
